i’m not exactly what it is for certain that i find so charming about this color palette i saw in an older issue of marie claire maison, but i was so smitten with it. perhaps because i’m flying to paris tonight! this room just has that je ne sais quoi. it’s a charming dining banquette in a Parisienne flat and the mix of the quite serious looking portrait paintings paired with the jolly little cushions just created such a uniquely modern juxtaposition — such interesting mix of decor going on here, in such a tiny little nook.
i thought it would be fun to try and ‘get the look’: Set of two vintage Framed Lovely Young Ladies from southernpearlz; black Factory Light No. 5 from schoolhouse electric; VINTAGE MUNDUS BENTWOOD ARMCHAIR from super marché; round yellow pintuck pillow from urban outfitters; pink Valentina Pillow from anthropologie; and Pieced Corduroy Throw Pillow from urban outfitters.
