if there’s one blog out there that i follow consistently and read every newsletter, it’s remodelista. their editorial eye is so spot-on and continually offers me not only amazing styling tips, but practical knowledge about remodeling (duh, the name says it all) and homeownership 101. their first book aptly entitled remodelista is any designer’s (armchair or otherwise) bible and so well put together, and now they have a second book out, Remodelista: The Organized Home: Simple, Stylish Storage Ideas for All Over the House i’m quite anxious to add to my bookshelf. there’s also no shortage of inspiring interiors, of course, and this recent post had my creative juices flowing. this is the live/work space of Lappalainen, located in an old industrial building in Hanau near Frankfurt where they make the gorgeous mobiles you see in their home. for the full tour of their stunning home and a peek into their studio, visit remodelista and follow on Lappalainen instagram.
