sometimes i just come across a place (or a film, or a song etc.) and i get . i dunno why really, just a mood strikes me, and when i came across and their with its blue and brown striped walls, i just had to play around. is a Luxury guesthouse boutique in a centuries-old manor house in the city of San Miguel de Allende, mexico run by Laura Kirar, and what she’s created here is utterly wonderful. i instantly put it on my list of must-visits (more on this soon), but in the meantime, i’ve done a kind of mood board here inspired by her incredible creativity and uniquely eclectic eye for design. it’s funky to be sure, but i like stepping outside the box more and more these days, so here you have it.
