i’ve been slowly working on the remodel of my kitchen (you can see ). it’s taken on a life of its own, much because my contractor who did an amazing job of my suddenly went bonkers on me — i hear this is an epidemic among contractors everywhere. he was such a craftsman but one i believe, who did not manage the stress of many jobs at once and so when he started cussing at me and refused to apologize, i fired him. but i digress, as anyone who’s gone through construction woes is inclined to do we could go on and on — so back to what i’ve currently got going on!

thus far i’ve partnered with and put in their amazing — and i can’t say enough nice things about working with and their installation team from — what lovely and skilled workmen! i’m also partnering with and putting in beautiful new countertops and backsplash in . it’s all on order and hopefully, this will happen before christmas. i’ve also got a new and from and oh how do i love them! the fridge is the cutest i’ve ever seen and makes me unreasonably happy. i’ve been working on some inspiration on how i’ll pull the final look together once the final elements are in and there’s one area where i currently have a , but i’d like a small hutch here with opening shelving above, so a lot of these looks have the vibe i’m going for. i also like how calming and organized these spaces look and i love the vintage modern mix — like the addition of unexpected portrait paintings paired with the modern countertops and open shelving. i’m also going to repaint the kitchen in and at some point i hope to put french doors out to the patio. babysteps. i can’t wait to share the final reveal with you, and hopefully very soon!
