we can’t really get away these days, so i thought it might be nice to take a virtual trip to a french chateau. sounds pretty dreamy, right? and it most certainly is — today we’re visiting chateau de dirac in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, home to many great wine regions, run and created by designer Isabelle Dubois-Dumée. the chateau epitomizes the French way of life and is available for events, photoshoots, and workshops, and its rooms are available to stay, complete with breakfast, cocktails, and even country picnics — they handle it all. Isabelle’s beautiful chateau was recently featured on vide deco and i naturally had to hunt down her account on instagram, @châteaudedirac to see more of it. i love the casual, comfortable vintage vibes (all that great bamboo furniture like we carry in super marché) paired with some incredible lighting and very enviable collections. and she’s also got a charming online shop, so have a peek there, too!
