mustard is hot right now — and no, i don’t mean spicy. it’s just very on trend and i for one have embraced it. mustard yellow pairs well with so many colors — coral, pink, blue, deep greens, black — it’s a multi-tasking color for certain. and it’s got a very elegant edge to it, as well. i especially love mustard yellow in velvet (i picked up a beautiful pillow in paris of that same description) and we have a few in the super marché shop as well). i see anthroplogie has several mustard velvet pieces in their latest collections and i’m even seeing mustard colored linen sheets. mustard is most definitely having its moment.
