The new office for Netcompany, designed and delivered by Dandelion Design Construction, transforms Level 29 of Opal Tower in Ho Chi Minh City into a high-performance workplace that reflects the company’s culture and global identity. Acting as both designer and builder, Dandelion provided a fully integrated design and build solution, demonstrating their ability to manage projects seamlessly from concept development through construction and final execution.
Dandelion team strictly follows Netcompany’s global brand guidelines, ensuring that every element, from spatial planning to material selection, aligns with the company’s established design language. At the same time, the design thoughtfully responds to the local context, resulting in a distinctive workplace that reflects the company’s values while showcasing Dandelion’s creative approach.
With an entire floor plan to design, the concept envisions the office as an open, flexible workplace. Each area is seamlessly connected, using sheer curtains to provide subtle spatial separation while maintaining visual continuity throughout the space. This maintains a sense of openness while allowing different teams and departments to coexist comfortably within the same environment.
The layout features a diverse range of functional zones, including open workstations, freestanding collaboration tables, phone booths, meeting booths and private rooms for different departments, supporting both focused individual tasks and informal team discussions.
Furniture from Holmris B8, the same brand specified for Netcompany’s headquarters in Denmark, is seamlessly paired with new design elements to reinforce brand consistency across global offices.
Employee well-being is central to the design. Workstations are equipped with height-adjustable desks, individual lockers, and ergonomic task chairs. Floor-to-ceiling glass partitions were used allow light to flow throughout the workspace.
Lighting and acoustic performance were carefully tested to ensure productivity. Special light pendant introduces focal points and soft ambient illumination, while task lighting is strategically placed where focused work is required. Double-glazed partitions and sound-absorbing panels with STC 45 acoustic performance provide privacy and acoustic comfort.
The result is a thoughtfully designed workplace that integrates brand identity, functionality, and employee well-being, creating a cohesive environment that supports productivity and collaboration.
