i miss living by the beach, so much so that i sometimes spend time creating my own little beach shack in my imagination and on — saving images of what a dream spot by the sea just might look like, and then i compile these images to share here with you. water is my safe space so one day i know i’ve just got to live closer to the ocean because even though i live in L.A. traffic to and from the eastside to the beach can sadly sometimes keep me away. so, today, here’s where we’re residing seaside — a rustic little oasis with white shiplap walls, cozy plant-filled corners everywhere and plenty of natural sunlight. who’s with me? oh, if you love this look, too i strongly recommend the book by Nina Freudenberger — it’s full of inspiring, laid back beach homes.
