At the crossroads of Paris & the main European countries, Experience & Excellence meet up between food & space design, to create a unique building that will be home to a leader in high-quality flavors for the food and beverage industry worldwide. That’s where ARCH.DESIGN and OSF Flavors become partners to give life to these new offices in Lormaison, a small city located up in the North of Paris.
Based in the US, but also present in Africa and Asia, OSF Flavors is a producer of high-quality natural and unnatural food flavors. In view to expand its impact worldwide, it recently decided to open a new firm in Europe near Paris, a global city.
In order to develop a project coherent with its image, OSF Flavors chose to collaborate with ARCH.DESIGN to translate its vision into a reality.
The whole Design&Build process was brought to life through ARCH.DESIGN’s signature approach, the DESIGN360 method: focusing on a flexible approach, coupled with their in-house team including workplace experts, designers, project managers, site managers and furniture experts, in view of keeping control over the quality of the work carried out.
Factors such as the presence of an interior patio and OSF’s desire to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere naturally led the architects to adopt a plant-based and natural approach, which they wanted to reflect in their choice of materials such as wood and stone, and in the choice of paint colors and furniture. Added to all this was a desire for real purity and elegance in the premises, which they emphasized through sober aesthetic choices, and the presence of curves in a regular and fluid way. This way, the eye isn’t disturbed; the environment feels soft and familiar, and the essence can really focus on taste and smell – which is OSF’s core business.
Expertise and creativity, combined with a constant collaboration and communication between OSF Flavors and ARCH.DESIGN, have resulted in a beautiful, innovative workspace that combines functionality, aesthetics and the firm’s vision.
