
sometimes it’s just as much what you take away, as what you add to make a room chic. it’s an understated look you want — that old theory applies to decorating just like it does when you look in the mirror before heading out for the evening: it’s always best to remove one thing from your ensemble. at least that’s what they say and i follow it pretty religiously. i’m trying to be more spare with my decorating these days, too so i found these rooms to be simply chic without overdoing it. but when you do add something it should be an eye-catching, iconic piece — a wonderful or — some great artwork for sure. have a look and see what i mean.
