beds are so important — and bedrooms are to be equally considered. i have been a bit of an insomniac lately and it’s really making me reconsider my bedroom decor. i have that very large batgirl bed as i like to call it, and then a vintage black armoire (which used to be white and may need to return to its former glory), and a large black dresser. it’s weighing me down a bit to tell you the truth, so i’ll keep you posted on how i change it up. and i’m also considering some new artwork as well, which naturally had me perusing pinterest for ideas. i keep a bedroom pinboard, as well as a gallery pinboard so i checked those for inspiration. i love so many of the bedroom art depicted here — some are a bold statement like a large format photograph (selfie, anyone?) or the vintage portrait paintings (you know how i love those), or a tiny gallery of mementos and prints that really mean something special. what do you prefer?
