Office furniture brand Humanscale unveiled the Float Mini desk, which as its name implies is a compact sit-stand desk that can effortlessly fit into any room in your home! The Float Mini is designed to be a miniature version of HumanScale’s Float desk, and it is equipped with a small cantilevered work surface, and a single-leg frame that doesn’t occupy much space at all. The desk is equipped with optional casters and is in fact quite easy and effortless to move. So, you can transfer it from one environment to another, and adjust it to various seating positions.
Much like the larger Float desk, the Float Mini utilizes a non-powered pneumatic cylinder that raises and lowers the work surface, providing it with a gilding motion, that doesn’t require the desk to be plugged into a power source. This ensures that the desk can even be taken outdoors!
The Float Mini features a 16 by 27-inch tabletop that is crafted from bamboo, which is a pretty sustainable and aesthetic material. The bamboo provides the desk with a warm and minimal look, that ensures it perfectly merges with modern homes and interiors.
