one day soon we’re going to be getting on an airplane and we might as well head all the way down under, to the always interesting city of sydney, australia. and it’s a charming spot one of my favorite designers has recently redesigned — sibella court of society inc. has given the public house inside the hotel palisade a casually rustic vintage vibe that pays homage to days-gone-by and inspired by the small trades of eras passed: the hand-tooled, hand-smithed and hand-tinkered. we’re going to get into the proper mood with denim and leather, pairing in a leather midi skirt worn with a feminine sheer black blouse but dressed down a bit with a classic denim jacket, a fun beaded bag and some sexy low-heeled mules. whilst awaiting your friends to meet you at the bar, i suggest a book i’ve got on my must-read list: who is maude dixon? by Alexandra Andrews — a twisty and viciously entertaining stylish psychological thriller about how far into the darkness you’re willing to go to claim the life you always wanted. sounds juicy!
