
i can feel the weather changing, getting cooler and cozier, so i thought what better time than a wee winter pop on over to londontown? and this rustic cozy cafe looks like the perfect spot to spend some quality tea time. housed in one of jolly olde England’s most historic buildings (dating back all the way to 1658!) in the artsy hackney district is , a lovely little bakery, restaurant, and chic wine bar. with it’s things like this that endear us to its old-world meets modern-day charm. we’re going to get ‘modern mod’ with a , paired with a under a cozy , and s and over that a classic . for fun (and comfort!) we’re adding some chunky worn with . london’s a city with such a wonderful history, so we suggest picking up one of my favorite books, by sarah waters. it’s the tale of Sue Trinder, an orphan, left as an infant in the care of a baby farmer and family of thieves, but one day, the most beloved thief of all arrives — ‘Gentleman’ with an enticing proposition for she just can’t resist. be prepared for loads of twists and turns!
