i love a restaurant space that feels more like you’ve just popped into your best friend’s dinner party than a cafe, and the Park House is exactly that. this charming loft style restaurant & bar in Sydney seats 200, but still feels cozy and warm. Inspired by its 1950’s motel architecture and rising from the ruins of the former Mona Vale Hotel designers alexander & co. created an all-new multipurpose dining and social space with a well-curated collection of Scandinavian modernist art and furniture. dramatically reimagining it into a feel-right-at-home space to match the neighborhood’s exciting evolution, hoping that the Park House becomes a landmark to be loved and lived in, just like all the best houses. throw on a silky jumpsuit over a sexy sheer tee and some fun and funky mules and you’ve got a perfectly chic but comfy ensemble. and if it’s your first time traveling to sydney, we suggest grabbing one of wallpaper’s city guides for the design-conscious visitor and get yourself acquainted down under.
