Our June edition of Yellowtrace Spotlight rounds up the best local and international submissions, including some hot and happening restaurants in Sydney, Shanghai & Antlanta, new products that have dropped in Australia from Laminex, Ross Gardam & Ross Didier, an exciting new hotel opening in Sydney, plus some seriously amazing projects by Miriam Barrio, Bureau De Change and David/Nicolas to name a few. This 140 square metre fifth-floor apartment in central Barcelona was a little gloomy and in need of brightening. Its totally charming transformation is the work of young Spanish architect Miriam Barrio, who has layered accents of gold with a little colour blocking and a good helping of natural light.

This modern eatery marks Alberto Caiola’s second collaboration with July’s Flowers, elevating flowers to not just a feast for the eyes, but also for the mouth.
