Inspired by classic A-frame structures, the lounge chair by Stockholm-based studio Afteroom for has a distinct look — its triangular FSC-certified solid wood legs culminate in crescent-shaped armrests whose gentle curves echo that of the seat. The upright position of the backrest is ideal for casual meetings, while optional cushions enhance the softness of the fully upholstered back and seat. The frame is available in six wood stains, and an array of textiles and leathers can be selected for the upholstered portions.

With her lounge chair for , Ukrainian industrial designer Kateryna Sokolova pays homage to the work and principles of avant-garde artist Alexander Archipenko — a pioneer of Cubism who also recognized the “void” as a constructive element in art and architecture.
