i’ve only been to the island of in spain for literally one day — a stop on a cruise through the Mediterranean, but that stop was most memorable and i vowed to make it back. and now i’ve got even more incentive because just look at this architectural jewel in the heart of Menorcan wilderness — meet , a finca with over 11 rooms and loads of room for family and friends.
was built in the 19th-century by a family of Minorcan merchants it’s been completely renovated by the new owners maintaining a very Menorcan atmosphere with vaulted ceilings and whitewashed walls — each room is a unique space adorned with richly colored authentic tiles and stunning panoramic views of the Menorcan countryside with sunrise or sunset visible from every window. built atop a hill surrounded by the beautiful rural landscape of the island, there’s plenty of space to spread out relax and enjoy meals both inside and outside the house with terraces on each of its different levels — the perfect place for an aperitif. and it’ only a short drive to the nearest beach and includes a gorgeous swimming pool should you just want to spend your days lounging around with nowhere to be except right here. group trip, anyone?
