foodpanda Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur workplace translates the energy of its delivery ecosystem into a physical environment shaped by connection, community, and local culture.

Built around the concept “PANDAVILLE: A Community Built, Brick by Brick,” the workplace spans Levels 32 to 34 at Jalan Munshi Abdullah and reflects foodpanda’s role in connecting people, neighborhoods, vendors, and consumers. The design brings together the brand’s playful global identity with references to Malaysian street culture, creating a workplace that feels recognizably foodpanda while remaining rooted in its local context.

A Brand Brought to Life
foodpanda’s brand identity shapes the workplace through colour, form, material and custom details. Signature pink accents, circular forms, panda-inspired motifs and brick textures create a distinctive visual language across the three floors.

The arrival experience introduces this character through a sweeping white archway that acts as a portal into PANDAVILLE. Exposed brick reinforces the idea of a community built “brick by brick,” while colour transitions add movement and energy to the space.

A Social Heart Inspired by Local Food Culture
The main pantry forms the social heart of the workplace, drawing inspiration from Malaysian street-food culture. Hawker stalls, neighbourhood vendors and local food markets inform the design of custom cart-style seating, vendor-inspired counters, communal tables and café-like settings.

Warm timber and informal seating create a welcoming atmosphere where employees can gather, eat, meet and connect throughout the day.

Different Settings for Different Moments
A mix of open work areas, lounges, collaboration spaces and meeting rooms supports different activities throughout the working day. Employees can move between focused work, informal discussions, team collaboration and social interaction depending on their needs.

Green walls, planter boxes and integrated foliage bring softness into the more industrial elements of the workplace and add a stronger connection to nature within shared areas.

Global Energy, Local Character
Local references give the workplace its own identity within foodpanda’s global brand. Malaysian street culture, familiar materials and playful details sit alongside the company’s signature colours and visual language.

The result is a workplace that brings together brand identity, local character and community in a way that feels playful, social and flexible. PANDAVILLE gives physical form to foodpanda’s culture of connection, creating a workplace built around people, food and everyday interaction.
