The owners of an antiquarian shop called Amapola have moved to the countryside in Los Cuartos, a tiny village in Ávila, spain. They’ve transformed an old barn into a contemporary and colorfully eclectic house built essentially from ruins. featured in this wonderful online magazine I’ve just come across, , owners Ana López Escrivá and her husband, photographer Guillermo Shelley, with whom she runs Amapola, have created such an amazing textural and layered space. there’s a lot of collections happening here, but it doesn’t feel at all cluttered to me and instead very well-curated and utterly charming. for the full tour, visit and check out their site for loads of other fantastic inspiration.
