this week’s takes us all the way across the pond to copenhagen, denmark. when i think of the danish design aesthetic it’s actually a tad difficult to pin down because i think it influences a lot of other countries’ design, and vice versa. like japan for instance — i see a lot of similarities in the two country’s take on design — a kind of wabi-sabi practicality exists in both. but when i consider how to get a look straight out of copenhagen i would add a pastel color palette, some signature lighting pieces, distinct and eye-catching seating and a kind of minimal, often whimsical but warm design elements. i found you a few key pieces to get the look.
