When Payoneer, one of the world’s leading global fintech companies in international payments and money transfers, set out to establish its new Israeli headquarters, the challenge was to create a workplace that would reflect the brand’s dual essence: on one hand, a fast-moving, dynamic technology company, and on the other, a global organization seeking to create a sense of stability, flow, and connection.

The new offices are located in Allied Tower within the BIG Glilot complex, spanning seven floors. These floors are connected by a continuous internal staircase, creating a vertical campus and uniting all parts of the organization into one cohesive environment.

The design concept was born from the dialogue between two primary sources of inspiration: the tower’s unique location overlooking the Mediterranean coastline, and Payoneer’s brand identity—colorful, global, and full of movement. From this creative tension emerged a design language that clearly distinguishes between focused work areas and public social spaces.

The work areas were designed in a calm, harmonious palette inspired by the depths of the sea. Carpet flooring creates a gradual transition from deep ocean blues to soft sandy tones, while the exposed blue ceiling extends this visual language and creates a unified spatial envelope. The open-plan spaces gain an additional layer of depth through custom-designed partitions: glass blinds finished with a holographic film that evokes the refraction of light through water. Throughout the day, as sunlight shifts and people move through space, the colors continuously transform, adding a dynamic dimension to the environment.

Alongside the open workspaces, both formal and informal meeting rooms were designed in soft, neutral tones, enriched by a layered combination of materials and textures that create balance against the blue tones of the work areas. Open collaboration hubs were integrated in the floor, serving as gathering points for daily team meetings and encouraging spontaneous interaction.

One of the project’s most distinctive architectural elements is the central staircase, a sculptural blue feature that connects the floors through the cafeteria areas. Its glass balustrade continues the visual language of the workspace partitions, allowing light, shadow, and reflections to become an integral part of the spatial experience here as well.

The public floor, which serves as the heart of the company, brings together the organization’s communal and representative functions. At the entrance, a sculptural reception desk made of Corian features organic lines inspired by the ocian waves, while integrating the company’s logo. Further along the floor is the company’s main boardroom and the main cafeteria, the primary social hub of the project. One of its defining features is a system of golden metal shelving with an acid-finished surface, adding material richness and vibrant depth to the space.

Adjacent to the cafeteria, a multifunctional space was designed for gatherings, lectures, and workshops. With a system of moving partitions, the space can be divided into two intimate rooms or fully opened and connected to the main cafeteria, creating a large-scale hospitality and event venue.

Payoneer’s new offices offer a work environment that successfully balances calmness and energy, focus and movement, nature and brand identity. It is a space that not only surrounds its employees, but evolves with them throughout the day, responding to light, movement, and human interaction, creating a workplace environment that is immersive, emotional, and precisely crafted.
