how’s that for a tongue-twister? it’s definitely hard to say three times fast. but seashells, all on their own are really quite lovely. i found a delicate pink sea fan in the french countryside (how did it get there, i wonder?) and it got me thinking about decorating around the seashell motif. in small doses, i think they’re a unique addition to any decor — almost like a small sculpture. and seashell or sea fan prints are quite nice as well. is someone whose taste i quite admire and she utilizes a lot of found shells in her decor (and she has a new line of beautiful oceanic inspired out as well). have a look down by the seashore near you or on your next beachside holiday and find your own sculpture from the sea.
