spring has finally sprung and for me, that means it’s time for decluttering and deep cleaning around here. i’m pretty tidy but i seem to still find ways of bringing the outside dirt inside, especially after spending time gardening, and living so near the ocean my pup frances and i tend to bring a bit of that beach home with us after our morning walks. so when invited me to check out their new robot vacuum i was super excited to see how it worked. i have beautiful old hardwood floors and i like to keep them shiny and clean, so a self-cleaning vacuum had me at hello! i don’t know why but the T10 felt almost like a little pet (i even named it jeeves — as in my butler) and i was amazed at how efficient and smart this robot is. if i can hang out on my sofa working, or relaxing and reading while something else does the job of vacuuming, i’m all for it, as pushing around a heavy, cumbersome vacuum is one of my least favorite tasks. and, the also wet mops, keeping my hardwood floors looking beautiful and shining all the time — it’s equipped with both clean and wastewater tankmops, simply by switching between the vacuum mode and the mop mode which is super easy to do. downloading the app is super simple, too and from there the does all the work for you including returning to its home base cleaning station all on its own. i found its technology most fascinating and even quite charming in a jetson’s futuristic kind of way!

the home base cleaning station is a sleek and clean-looking design that blends in beautifully with your home and can tuck away nicely in any nook or corner. once charged, the is most intuitive and literally builds its own routing of your rooms, mapping out each of your rooms individually, which then are saved in the app and can be adjusted at any time. the dual side brushes sweep dirt, dog hair (hurrah!), and debris directly into the vacuum slot — all without causing a lot of noise. and its HEPA 10 filter efficiently traps dust, hair, and allergens. if you want an even deeper clean for instance, simply move some of the obstacles, like chairs, stools, and poufs out of its way and the will remap, creating an even larger mapped area to vacuum and mop, and from there the maps are stored in the app and look something like this image below. and it not only vacuums hardwood floors but tile, concrete, and even rugs and carpeting. i’m quite pleased with the and its ability to free up so much of my time, and so quietly and efficiently. for more information, visit their website and follow along on to see other examples of how the works — like a charm!
