I love the feeling that photographer Marina Denisova has captured in the photos here. It’s a storied simplicity — quite minimal but with a little something interesting, patinaed or quirky thrown in. while so many Americans are currently downsizing and minimizing, there are some good lessons here on how to do minimalism without being sterile or boring (but I know that’s all very relative). I’m absolutely smitten with that asymmetrical iron bed frame — I’m wondering if they took two antique bed frames and fused them together and added a little wood shelf, perhaps. So simple but intriguing! Another good example is the hotel room with rust, triangle tiles. To see more of the Florence-based photographer’s work, check out her Instagram and visit marina’s website.
